The darkness fell upon him, aware of it’s
blinding impact, feeling the glimmers of light and hope streaming out of
his heart. Struggling to grasp the light, desperately feeling lost in
darkness. The darkness so very dark against the brilliant shimmering
rainbow of yesterday.
Overwhelmed by the darkness, shafts of
light slowly appear from many directions, each lighting a path to the
unknown. Paths of the past feeling like knives digging into his heart as
the bright shimmering memories become lost in the tangled forest of
yesterday.
Walking the well trodden path leading to
the unknown, not knowing which way to turn, so frightened to stay in the
same place too long, knowing he must move to a new place, a wondrous place
of many lights, each defined by it’s own inner beauty, each a rainbow
created by his soul, moving like a dancing dream, enveloped in the beauty
of life itself.
Walking along the unknown path through
life, seeking a well lit colourful path to an unknown joyous journey away
from the darkness of yesterday.
