| Kogaionon Yoga |

So, in Sanskrit, the word yoga means "union". Union between the mind, body and spirit. What is the Kogaionon method of Yoga? Of course, Kogaionon was the holy mountain of the Geto-Dacians, the place where Zalmoxis stayed in an underground cave for three years. But Kogaionon Yoga?
What do you think about Kogaionon Yoga? Literature, I think and nothing more.

I see yoga as a tool. I use it to work on posture. Sincerely, with all due respect, I'm not interested in the mumbo jumbo. |

I'm very reserved about my spirituality - by 'mumbo jumbo' I mean anything that attempts to approach that. Also I'm interested in finding some answers within my own culture. |

So do I take it that you are looking for a keep fit class a bit like Yoga, without the heat of Hot Yoga?
If so try a class in a gym, many exclude the "spirtual" element so are more akin to a keep fit workout, or try Astanga |

I suppose I'm looking for a class that concentrates solely on the postures, going into great detail muscle by muscle and including an awareness of proprioception. I'm in London. |

Try Pilates, very "un spritual", subtle and can be really hard work if done in the right way!
From reading your comments here it sounds right up your street.

No, Pilates stress the crazy 'inner corset' idea which in the long run I'm sure is injurious. Not to mention intercostal breathing. |

Keyboardclas
I'm not interested in mumbo jumbo either but I'm very interested in all aspects of yoga. At no point in my study of yoga have I come across 'mumbo jumbo. This site is aimed at people interested in all aspects of yoga, please don't insult (those of) us by calling it mumbo jumbo.
with kind regards

I agree with Brenda
Unfortunately there are some genuinely dangerous people around and people should take very great care when considering responding to requests to meet up from someone who they don't know at all.

The other thread on Gregorian Bivolaru has reached the maximum number of posts so here is new thread should anyone wish to post on it and continue the discussion.
I put Tara Yoga Centre in the title as this is a UK board and as the Tara Yoga Centre is the UK subsidiary of MISA.
I tried to add a link to the original thread but this forum will now allow it for some reason.

Well if you don't want to read about Gregorian Bivolaru, Romanian criminal wanted for people trafficking, and his pimping associates the the Tara Yoga Centre and the Natha yoga centres then the best advice I can give you is to not read the thread.
For people who are interested to know more then you just need to google for
MISA - The Dark Side of a Tantric Cult (english)
You will find a Finnish documentary produced by a reputable producer, all about some of the abuses committed by this group of criminals in Finland.
The documentary is in Finnish language but has English subtitles.
Obviously, as it is a documentary about a group of pimps disguised as a yoga school, the documentary may be disturbing for some people and viewer discretion is advised.
There are no explicit images in the video however so anyone who is genuinely interested in it can view it without worrying that you might see illegal or pornographic material.
Of course if you are really bored with it all then don't look.
