We all need to think criticially about our beliefs. You should create a more objective test for your crystals. Do not fall into the pragmatic fallacy, becuase you observe it to work/not work does not imply it really does.
Try and remove the possibility of the following fallcies:

Try and come up with an objective test that does not depend upon your belief. Try your hardest to falsify your belief, if you put in honest attepmts at falsification and succeed, admit your beliefs our false. If they fail consider your beliefs may be right.

Investigate claims of the truth of crystals from both sides of the arguments. Find people who are critical as well as those who are sympathetic.

just noticed your dilemma on crystals and hope you dont mind me saying but i have worked with crystals for around 10yr and i think they work best when left to there own devices ie just being! they each have their own vibration and will change the vibration of what/wherever they are with-doing their own thing really.
i find that testing them involves ego and maybe thats the lesson here!just enjoy them
love
