Creatives who use alternative practices |

I am interested in hearing from creative people, such as actors, writers, directors, musicians (either professional or those with hobbies) who engage in any type of alternative practice (astrology, feng shui, flower essences, yoga, reiki, etc).
I am interested to find out if doing these practices has allowed you to be more creative, increased your productivity or has helped you become more successful in your chosen field. Also, have any benefits carried over into other areas of your life?
I am an actress and writer with a keen interest in exploring alternative practices, initially out of curiosity, but also to give me guidance and hopefully a boost in my career! Are there other people who have done the same? |

Yes, as a writer and designer, I use Qi Gong Meditation .
Whether career boosting is possible through such an alternative as Qi Gong alone >>> Doubtful. But with many of these meditative alternatives you reach a calm within which creates inner peace then confidence thus your work blossoms.
Ahhhhhhhh it is 2004 now .. Hope your two years have blossomed "in lights" .

World As Lover, World As
Self

World As Lover, World As Self includes
an introduction by Thich Nhat Hanh. It is a book offering a world view,
the collective emotional, spiritual and physical "damage" we all carry
from past conditioning and a way forward. A holistic Buddhist view without
pushing a specific remedy but showing just how collectively damaged the
world has become.
