 British Accreditation for Sivananda Yoga

Fee Fee  wrote on the 02 January 2007

I recently came across a yoga website that offered 240 hours RYT certificates for yoga teacher training. It also ran a course in 2006 for those yoga teachers who have not trained with one of the regular based UK schools of yoga, (British Wheel of Yoga or Yoga Alliance Registered etc), allowing them to gain a British accreditation, they had no dates in place for 2007 as it was the first time they had run the course and were evaluating their results for 2006.

I trained with Britsh Acrdtainin France, which is a Yoga Alliance Registered School in the States

Alas, I do not recall this yoga school’s name. Can any body help me? I am grateful for any suggestions. Sivananda yoga has given me a firm foundation on which I am building on all the time. My personal yoga practice is 10 years old and I have only ever practised Sivananda yoga, hence taking this course.

When it comes to teaching in centres, some will only take you it you are registered with certain schools or accreditations.

I don’t want to duplicate my yoga teacher training with another school of learning if there is a course that has been designed to give people like me a registered British accreditation.
