When I see that I am nothing,  this is wisdom.  When I see that I am everything, this is love. Between those two my life moves

Spirituality in Thai Massage
Perhaps you have seen the beautiful postures and manipulations of Traditional Thai Massage, an elegant activity where it is not always clear who is the giver and who the reciever. You may have heard that it combines acupressure with stretching, that it frees up the body, delivering wellness. You may also have heard about energy meridians, acupressure points, and so on. However, deeper than all these there is an aspect of Traditional Thai Massage (TTM), which to me, contains its essence and its secret, its spirituality.

TTM may well be called Bhuddist massage, as it is closely linked to the arrival of Bhuddism in thailand, and is still practiced by Monks all over Thailand, however that is to give it a label, and spirituality transcends labels.

Spirituality, to me, is to go below the surface of the world, to arrive in a place and time where the differentiating mind is silent , to feel onself as natural and harmonious as the waves on the shore, or the wind in the trees.

In the depth of TTM one abandons ideas to be present in the moment, feeling with one's being for the subtle impulse, the gentle breeze which tells you where to go, we are like an animal on the scent of its prey, awake to the slightest clue, and our prey is the Heart.
this to me, is the Spirituality of Traditional Thai Massage,

A Simple Path is based on talks by The Dalai Lama given in London during the mid 1990’s the Dalai Lama is widely respected as one of the world's great spiritual teachers of Tibetan Buddhism, most traditions find his work both acceptable and inspiring, because he tends to stress the universal features rather than narrow and restricted doctrine. The book covers the Four Noble Truths: the nature of suffering; the origin of suffering and the law of karma; cessation of suffering through liberation; and the path to achieving this. There are also many fantastic quality images of Tibet.
